October starts my favorite time of year. When leaves are changing colors and everything is beautiful oranges, reds, golds, yellows, and browns. Apples are in season - crisp, juicy apples to be eaten fresh or baked into pies or turned into cider. Everything is spiced. The air is crisp and refreshing. To me, it feels like it cuts right to your soul, waking it to something more. Things are coming. Autumn is so exciting because it means so many things. Halloween candy, Thanksgiving meals, visiting family, playing football, and then, winter!
